In order to keep our servers as up to date as possible, our administrative team will begin to reconfigure the server your website is hosted. After April 13, 2008 MYSQL 5 will be the default version of MYSQL, and PHP 5 will be the default version of PHP. These newest versions of MYSQL and PHP have already been tested and are currently installed on our newest servers. This update has caused no new issues to those servers and the clients on those servers.

PHP 5 is the default version to parse documents ending with the following extensions:

.php
.phps
.phtml
.php5

This change will occur for the server which hosts your website, pass62.dizinc.com[66.7.194.3], on April 13, 2008 at 11:59 PM EST.

Most applications should run perfectly fine under MYSQL 5 as well as PHP5, however some of our clients may find that their applications do not work properly and require MYSQL 4 or PHP 4. It is recommended that you check with your application vendors to ensure that the application is compatible with version 5, and update your software if necessary.

If no updates are available for the software you are using, you will be able to continue using PHP 4. On the day of the change (April 13, 2008), place the following commands into a file named '.htaccess' under the root directory for the application which requires PHP version 4.

You may also change the version of PHP inside your cPanel. You may do this by first logging into your cPanel account. Then navigate to the link named "PHP Configuration". Once there, there will be a drop down menu at the top that will allow you to change the default version of PHP.

i've upgraded ur quota for now. It seems you generated a backup of your files and left it on your server, which is why it went out of space.

ok my server down problem had been solved but now facing another problem.

i received this via email:

The account with the username 'lucialai' (lucialai.org), is running out of disk space.

Please remove some files from this account, or ask the administrator to increase your disk quota.

This account has used 106.46% (532.31 Megs) of its allocated disk space.

methink i need the increase space, so please let me know the charges.

i posted few days ago. blog down. 500 internal server error.
today got new error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare is_tag() (previously declared in /home/lucialai/public_html/wp-includes/query.php:94) in /home/lucialai/public_html/wp-content/plugins/Ultimate_Tag/ultimate-tag-warrior.php on line 125

what in the world happened? a friend said my blog had been hacked and need to change permission (need access root server or something). i guess only support can do that.

so how eh? where is support? please do it for me then bill me, if need to.

why did i receive this error message when i try to go to my blog this evening. earlier, morning until 5.30pm, it was ok. but when i try to log in at 9.00pm, received this error msg. i can access the admin and cpanel pages though... only the blog main.

yes, just upgrade and see what happens. otherwise add other protection methods like the math question plugin, etc

i have this plugin running on my blog now but how come now that there is an upgrade - it still ask me to upgrade myself? weird la...

not to mention that i'm being spammed like mad - need to upgrade the akismet as well?? *blur*

if you have problems with your permalinks, you need the following code in a file called .htaccess

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

Also make sure in the Permalinks section, there's no index.php included.

when i click on edit sidebar, how come this appears:

as you can see, the editing part is so narrow - how on earth to edit?

only once in a long while, the editing page will appear full (as normal) but most of the times it appears like the above with a narrow place for the editing part.

you might want to know what i did to get that. everything! well i click on 'edit' when i click on the sidebar file. then i highlight the sidebar file and click on the 'edit' icon. i also try click on the 'code editor' and 'html editor' icon - all... same result, i get this page (as picture above) with an impossibly narrow editing window.

appreciate if this problem can be solve because it does get very irritating when i can't edit the sidebar (which i do often) - well when it comes to urgent editing, i have to use the narrow window, no choice but very difficult to scroll through and to add codes - so please help! THANKS![/img]

I've been meaning to move my archive of 2005 & 2006 to another WP blog which I created using wordpress.com. I wasnt so sure if it was possible or not so I'm just trying it out. The thing is when I downloaded the XML file by clicking the export option, and then I went to the new blog to import, it says that only max 3M allowed....the file from mistyeiz is more than 9M...how can i just choose archive 2005 & 2006 only..?
